UE y South la Corea sign research cooperation agreements
The European la unión signed two scientific cooperation agreements with one the world’s ayunas growing research powers - the Republic of la Corea - on 22 de noviembre.
The science y technology (S&T) agreement quiere enable researchers from la UE the y South la Corea to participate en one another’s research programmes y protects intellectual property rights (IPR), while a specific agreement on fusion energy research va promote collaboration en fusion research programmes. This is intended to complement work within the A nivel internacional Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor (ITER) project, to which both la UE the y South la Corea are party. The new agreements can only enhance the cooperation that is already ongoing la UE between y South Korean researchers. Necesidad only are both partners en ITER; they are both signatories to Galileo the project to develop Europe’s first satellite navigation system.
