Giove B celebrates his first birthday in the orbit, Giove B is 2 satellites for Galileo Navigationssystem in all was shot. Giove B weighs 500 kilo grief and was produced by Astrium in the Aufgrag of the ESA.
Giove B was shot on the 27th of April, 2008 by the Kazakh Baikonur in the earth orbit. In July, 2008 the satellite became for completely ready for use.
Since then GIOVE B has broadcast navigation test signals in the ground stations on the whole earth which allow a long time measurement of the signal quality to engineers and researchers.
